Special inspectors certified by the International Code Council for Structural Masonry inspect the masonry. Masonry inspectors ensure that correct masonry construction is carried out. In the construction of masonry, there are various different elements. This inspection takes into account the size of CMU blocks, mortar type and joint spacing, grout type, and rebar. The cleanliness of the cells and the rebar that is secured in the cells are both checked. Grout placement and consolidation are examined, as well as temperature monitoring at the moment of placement and during the curing process.
